I thought it would be helpful to introduce myself to my new students and their families.
I was born in Rhode Island and have lived here all of my life. I knew I wanted to become a teacher ever since I was
in grade school.

I am a proud mother of five children. Jason, who is 26, is my oldest child. He attended the University of Maine. Sara is
25 year old. She graduated from Lycoming College with degree in Corporate Communications now working at Butler Hospital's
Human Resource Department. Eric who is a senior at University of Rhode Island will be graduating in the spring with a degree
in Business Economics with a minor in Asian Studies. Craig who is 21 is employed at MetLife. Meaghan is my youngest daughter.
She attends St. Lawrence University in New York.
After my five children were attending grade school full time, with the support of my husband, I enrolled at the University
of Rhode Island. I graduated with a degree in Education with a minor in History. I also received a Master's degree in Education
Integrating Technology in the Classroom.
In our spare time we enjoy sailing and going to the beach. During school vacations, we enjoying traveling to Sanibel Island
and Ameila Island in Florida.
We have two adorable pets. Mollie is our Cocker Spaniel and Nicki the cat. Although Nicki is much smaller than Mollie, he
is clearly the boss among them.
